In the spirit of renewal
I am drawn to your inner beast like a moth to a flame
Lit for my discovery
The reverie in me spoke so deeply that I took leaps
Leaps and bounds, salacious sounds, and mounds
Pleasure is heavy
But this reservation is just for two
Me and you in a unlit room for a rendezvous
No words, just listen
Don't speak as sweet as she sang it
I'm not the doppelgänger that was planted
So let's slip away and slip into danger
Into satin robes and sheets the color of dried blood
Let's run until we touch the sun
Touch hands, romance, and dance
Until we slip back into a world filled with demands
Continue to save that last dance, for me.
This is compilation of my deeepest thoughts, my shallowest thoughts, my life, and my enlightenment.

A Poet's In the Corner: The Never-Ending Story
If your tongue could flick my ear lobe
As gently as the leaves tickled the sky in an autumn breeze
Then we’d really have something here
We’d have something clear
Something undefined
So mine
Legs intertwined
And curved spines
Fine wines
Smoke laced
Paper chase
Eyes grace
Divine grace
Short skirts
Truth hurts
Spandex slides
Love forgives
But can love live?
Can they forgive?
Can they forget?
Is that regret?
Oh, we met
Again and again
An old friend
But a God send
We mend
The broken hearts
Shattered into smithereens
No spleens
Splenectomy
You got next to me
You’re testing me
My patience
Your waist’s bent
Temptation
Hesitations
Full thoughts
Full-bodied
Full voices
Moans
Groans
Student loans
Alone
Never
We’re always together
Are we?
I don’t know
We grow
Separately
Into infinity
Again undefined
Intertwined
Be mine
You’re fine
I’m fine
We start over
Grow older
Grow smarter
Long harder
Check departures
Travel
Unravel
At the seams
Have long never-ending dreams
Screams
Creams
Body lotions
Scented
With ravenous fragrances
Not sure what you’re aiming at
It’s aimless
Things, changes
Short-changing
Deranging
Strange-ing
This never-ending bullet
Confused
Misused
Abused
A muse
You lose
I win
And this is where another story can begin.
A Poet's in the Corner: Signs of Fall-ing
I can’t keep living in love’s dark forlorn shadow
Cast over by evergreen trees
And leaves tipped by the colors of autumn
I keep building this glass house with silica sand
That keeps blowing away
With the signs of your resentment
I can’t keep chasing these broken dreams with band-aids
I can’t keep these scars from bleeding without stitches
I cannot stop laughing at my stupidity
Searching in your eyes for my own validity
Pleading temporary insanity
Profanity, used heavily
I’m wealthy
Wealthy with love, and laughter, and light
A light that I will shine for the world to see
Casting out those dark, forlorn, bleak, but mystical shadows
Creeping upon the enemy
Freeing us from this cell we call the Earth
In this prison of Love
It must be abandoned
It must be castigated
Never placated
Romantically involved with the sun
The moon
The stars
Our hearts never reaching
Merely skimming the surface
Enhanced purpose
They’re just jerks to us
Oh, that’s you my friend
It’s you again?
Remove your fetal tendencies from the corners of my mind
Decline the wino’s crutch
You cry too much
Despair too much
Care too much
Grow your hair too much
Leave the leaves sun-tipped in empathy
You’re like kin to me
A sweet sin to me
My most-feared enemy
But again I see
This is the end to me.
A Poet's In the Corner: Be Damned Unpretty...
He kept telling me I wasn't beautiful
Not that that's unusual
And even if the feeling wasn't mutual
It still felt brutal
He continued to be a co-conspirator, in wrecking my self esteem
Too bad every opportunity was led by me
And I could code his name so I don't deface his image
But he always ruined mine
I was like a pity f***
But was the cause of plenty inclines
And it started as a gamble
Which continued to dismantle
All the things that I thought were beautiful me
All the things that in absence led to deceiving
And I as I ran at a steady piace towards him
Through the brush
Leaving branches in my hair
And feeling crucified
I constantly sat on floors of bathrooms, thinking I'd want to die
And each friend plucked from God's good hands made me forget more and more of this man
And though my heart was empty
My body was strong
And my spirit was intuitive about things that were wrong
And I got a degree
"Look mom, no hands"
And I never failed to forget what I learned from this man
If you don't determine your own worth
Someone will do it for you,
For the rest of your life
So just drop the bullet, and pick up the mic
Poetry, it has healed many of my life's griefs
Without it, I have no idea where I would truly be
Not that that's unusual
And even if the feeling wasn't mutual
It still felt brutal
He continued to be a co-conspirator, in wrecking my self esteem
Too bad every opportunity was led by me
And I could code his name so I don't deface his image
But he always ruined mine
I was like a pity f***
But was the cause of plenty inclines
And it started as a gamble
Which continued to dismantle
All the things that I thought were beautiful me
All the things that in absence led to deceiving
And I as I ran at a steady piace towards him
Through the brush
Leaving branches in my hair
And feeling crucified
I constantly sat on floors of bathrooms, thinking I'd want to die
And each friend plucked from God's good hands made me forget more and more of this man
And though my heart was empty
My body was strong
And my spirit was intuitive about things that were wrong

Someone will do it for you,
For the rest of your life
So just drop the bullet, and pick up the mic
Poetry, it has healed many of my life's griefs
Without it, I have no idea where I would truly be
Write Byte: It'll always be about him in the end.
If I knew the color of love would be
Like cream in the sweetest coffee
If I knew the sound of love would be
Like sound waves between my shoulder blades
If I knew loves’ eye would
Twinkle like the eyes of a child
Then I would have never left love in the first place.
I’d love him until we both fell off the edge of the Earth
And would still love as I gasped and we fell
And in the ideal, as the angel’s claim their new angel
I would still love
And continue to shed the tears for the love lost forever.
I promise to never leave you ever again.
